( GENERAL ) LETTER OF ENQUIRY

With all due respect, I take this opportunity on behalf of the above named organization to write, enquire and requesting for possible funding in your noble organization.

YESIL support the efforts of youth in the promotion of their own development in co-operation with ours, through the assistance from other development counterparts within and outside Sierra Leone.

YESIL was founded in 2008 by Yusif Bangura as a result of experiencing high level of anti social behavior by Youth, Violation and human right abuses, food insecurity and sexually transmitted diseases, occurring in rural and underprivileged communities across Sierra Leone.

Since 2008 YESIL opened a school for 200 underprivileged pupils in new London in Waterloo in Sierra Leone, YESIL support women’s group with entrepreneurial skills / vocational skills training in the communities. YESIL has also established a disable training center at Allen Town In Freetown, Sierra Leone

Our Aims and objectives are as follows:

1. Capacity building/livelihood and skills training programs

2. Education: - construction and re-open of schools including orphanages.

3. Agriculture: - food production and commercial farming and environmental/Biodiversity conservation

4. Health: - treatment, prevention and control of diseases, HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted disease.

5. Campaign against drugs/ alcohol abuse and anti-social behaviors.

6. Equal opportunities/ Human rights and child protection

7. To work on unemployment youth, and to create job opportunities.

8. Raising awareness of the importance of education in our society

We will be very pleased if your organization will consider any of the activities outline above for approval and kindly send us your project proposal guidelines that will be able to guide us in applying for funding to achieve our aims and objectives of our organization.
