DIRECT SEA CARGO SHIPPING FROM TURKIYE TO WEST AFRICA STARTS!
MSC is launching its service to West African ports that it will call directly from Turkiye as of the end of February.
Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), with the acquisition of 100% of Bollore Africa Logistics, one of the Bollore Group companies, strengthens its presence in Africa and increases the number of its services. MSC, which has not been indifferent to West Africa s increasing interest in Turkish goods and the demands of Turkish exporters for the market in recent years, is launching its direct service from Turkiye to West Africa with its renewed service structure.
With this direct service, MSC will facilitate the transportation of Turkish exporters with cargo to West Africa to the ports of the region. While meeting other logistics needs with the services offered by Bollore Africa Logistics under its roof, it will provide predictable transit time advantage thanks to sustainable cost and nonstop shipping.
West Africa direct service will start with the departure of MSC ANIELLO with a carrying capacity of 5000 TEU from Tekirdağ Asyaport on Tuesday, February 21. After Tekirdağ Asyaport Port, the ship is planned to arrive at Dakar Port in West Africa in 26 days, Abidjan Port in 30 days, and then to Tema, Lome and Tincan ports in one day intervals. MSC will provide weekly services on the Turkiye - West Africa route with 8 ships in the 5000 TEU segment with a carrying capacity of 50 thousand tons.
